Holiday Parks in England

Holiday parks in England are designed around fun family holidays beside the seaside. The parks will have swimming pools, a huge range of activities, and evening entertainment to ensure that everyone has a full, action-packed, enjoyable day.  With all the on-site facilities, safe sandy beaches and lots of things to do, dragging the family away from the park to discover the local area and its history and scenery maybe be a bit of a task!

Its very design ensures that a holiday park shoulders some of the stress of arranging a family holiday in England. With the variety of activities on offer within the park complex and a beach just minutes away, there is always going to be something that interests everyone. If you don’t feel like cooking, you can take advantage of a choice of food outlets which should satisfy all tastes, and if you’ve forgotten something there is a small convenience store on each site.

All-in-all, a holiday park makes your stay easy, fun, and relaxing for all the family.

Pontins Holiday Parks in England

Pontins have five holiday parks spread around the English coastline, and another site in north Wales. All the parks are beside the sea and have beautiful sandy beaches. How you would choose which one to stay at for your holiday I don’t know, perhaps distance from home, list of activities, or possibly the lure to explore a new part of the country.

To help, I’ve compiled a list of sites, activities, and things to do that are close by. These details were correct at the time of publication and may change without notice. Also, note that some of the activities may not be free!

Yes, I know this is a website about England, and I’m blogging about holiday parks in England, but I’ve got to include the site along the North Wales coast as it is such a beautiful part of the UK. Mind you Wales is renowned for its rain, so this may affect your decision making if you prefer to have a drier holiday or short break in England!

Club

If you would prefer a little more privacy and space, then most sites have a bungalow that can also be rented.

Pontins Food and Drink

If you’re having great fun and adventures during your holiday, you may not want to stop and prepare meals. Pontins recognise this and offer either self-catering or half-board holidays. On some selected breaks, you may even have the option of full board!

On each site you will find a “Queen Victoria” pub which serves traditional pub meals, great beers, fine wines, and soft drinks. There is the option to enjoy your meal or drink alfresco when the weather is kind to you.

There is also the option to dine at the on-park restaurant, where you’ll find all-you-can-eat buffets at breakfast and dinner times. Also on site, there are take-away food outlets for fish and chips, burgers, and ice creams.

And if you don’t mind preparing your own meals, there is a convenient “Nisalocal” store on each site that sells general groceries.

Entertainment

The famous Pontins “Bluecoat” team is on site at each holiday park and will keep you entertained throughout your stay. There is a great choice of organised kids’ events and adult entertainment. There are even special adult-only themed events on selected weekends throughout the year!

Now comes the difficult part as you have to choose between the different sites. I’m convinced that whichever part of the country you decide to stay in, you and your family will have great adventures and make wonderful memories. Happy holidays!
